Winners for Scavenger Hunt and new challenge!
Hey, guys.

EDITED: I'm super sorry guys, I miscounted! It was pointed out by jamie55, so thank you! The real winners are the Woo Girls (sorry Wingmen!). Standings were:

Woo Girls: 140
Wingmen: 100
Geeks: 70

Don't know how that happened--sorry again, guys!

Alrighty. Wingmen won this one!

Standings were as follows:

Woo Girls: 60
Geeks: 50
Wingmen: 80

What's going on?? Where are my drabbles? Hopefully this next challenge will inspire you a little more.

Kiss is the next challenge. All drabbles due by June 5 at 9PM EST.

In other news:

- Concerning the combining of the Woo Girls and the Wingmen: I have decided to combine the two teams, against my better judgement, because the idea is so popular. I will, however, keep a list of each team separately in case things don't work out. The main thing I'm worried about with this is that the WG/WM team will totally over-power the Geeks (because the WG/WM will essentially be twice the size of the Geeks). That being said, we need a team name for you guys. So, do you want to stick to Woo Girls or Wingmen or would you rather pick something new? Please indicate in the comments!

This combination will be effective...NOW. That means, for this challenge, it will be the Geeks v. WG/WM (for the time being, until you guys have a name, I'll refer to you as WG/WM).

Banners will be available shortly.

So get writing, kiddos!

ETA: Please use the "team: wm/wg" tag for the drabbles if you are in either of those teams for now. I'll rename it when you guys pick a new name.

Sorry about no drabbles this time... this one just didn't inspire me for whatever reason. Maybe keeping them more general would help, like with the earlier challenges?

Anywho, regarding wg/wm, it may be a good idea to have half of the people switch over to the geeks as well to even it out. It doesn't really matter who is on what team, as long as fics get written! :)

What about Bros? I know it's pretty general, but we know from the Bro Code that Bros can be both men and ladies, so that could be a good compromise from wingmen and woo girls. Thanks for all your hard work on this comm, and I'll get to work on this challenge! ::salutes::

Aw, thanks so much! I only wish I was better/more consistant (that doesn't look like it's spelled correctly...)!

I love the idea for "Bros!"

I think i'm confused.
Isn't it 10points for each drabble?
elaborationlove: Sheldonelaborationlove on May 30th, 2009 06:16 pm (UTC)
Yep. Did I miss some?

I have no idea how you got Woo Girls down for 60 points, I count 14 drabbles for the Woo Girls [idk about the other teams being counted correctly].

Sorry to comment jump and obnoxiously Ted-out here, but Miss dreamsofspike's drabbles do not count because they do not in any way address the "scavenger hunt" prompt. I don't mean to ask for a re-count or whatever, and frankly the points don't matter to me at all, it's just that earlier drabbles were not counted because they weren't exactly 100 words, even though they answered the prompt. So in future perhaps the mod should check that the rules are being adhered to and are understood by new members.

/Ted =)

For now, I'm just going to leave it as it is. It's not like this is for a million bucks or anything (wish it was!)

In the future, I will check more carefully.

Hi elaborationlove - I can't send you a PM, but I just wanted to ask... do you have any plans to revive this community? Because if you aren't able to maintain it anymore, I'd like to give it a shot. I miss this comm, and I think it would be great if we could get people participating again. Please let me know!

Hi there.

I don't have a problem doing it. The problem was participation. If you can round up some more people who are still/newly interested, I'll be more than happy to continue it. : )
